Josh Cook is originally from Columbus, Georgia, but grew up in Elmore County. Even though he grew up in church, he did not accept Christ as his personal Savior until the age of 14. When he was 18, he helped start a Gospel Quartet named Sure Foundation. Sure Foundation sang all over the Southeast. During this time, Josh began feeling that God wanted him to do something more. While singing, Josh met his future wife, Bridget, and they were married in 2002. Later in 2002, Josh accepted a position as a youth minister where God blessed. Josh and Bridget had their first child, Riley, in 2006. Josh continued in the youth ministry and he was also became a part of a contemporary Christian band named, Twenty-Four Seven, until 2008. Once again, Josh felt that God was calling him to do more. In March of 2008, he accepted the position of pastor, here, at Bridgeview. Josh is also a driver for UPS and is pursuing a degree from Andersonville Theological Seminary.
